There is a draw being held to sponsor the home strip up until May 2010. For only £250 you could have your company name printed on the front of the jersey, the back or on the shorts. More details can be found here and it has been discussed on the aftn forum here |

The accounts were not available until the AGM so nobody really had time to form any real opinion so I will list the key items. MAY 2008 MAY 2007
TURNOVER 600135 272668 COST OF SALES 369314 175434 GP 230821 97234 ADMIN EXPENSES 268553 155599 LOSS ON ORDINARY ACTIV. (13986) (38564) (NB there are other incomes and expenditures which I have not shown as these are the main items) CASH AT BANK 235132 166736 CREDITORS 116361 36848 ADDITIONAL INFO 19000 shares @ £4.25 were sold during the financial year. Quantity of authorised shares now stands at 200,000 with 191,000 issued and fully paid up. 1) Players wages are shown in COS and bonuses in Admin expenses ? 2) Main items in turnover increase are Rangers game, season tickets and hospitality 3) SC advised that a "Fife family" have had to withdraw financial support due to the current economic climate and that the club would need to fund all costs. This would mean reviewing all costs including wages. Any consideration of ground expansion is frozen and the club will look at all cost cutting opportunities. 4) Financial planning had initially been done on home crowds averaging 1000 5) There are no rifts on the EFFC board and the team will continue to work together in the interests of the club. 6) I asked SC to re-iterate his statement of two years ago that he would not allow EFFC to go into debt to achieve on-field targets. He said he and the board would do everything in their power to ensure the club would not go into debt. He also expressed an opinion that there are several clubs who are living on a knife edge and would cease to exist without bank support which cannot last forever. 7) No announcement was made of WG resigning either as Chairman or as a board member therefore I did not think it necessary to ask the question. 8)The manager was not available so there was no report relating to the playing side. |
